The Prada SS22 menswear collection was filmed in Milan at the Fondazione Prada’s Deposito, as well as in Sardinia; in appreciation of and thanks to the Sardinian community, #Prada supports the MEDSEA Foundation in its project to restore marine ecosystems with the reforestation of Posidonia Oceanica meadows in the Marine Protected Area of Capo Carbonara. Posidonia Oceanica is a marine plant endemic to the Mediterranean Sea, providing an important habitat for marine species and playing a crucial role in absorbing CO2 to help mitigate climate change. To showcase the #PradaSS22 womenswear collection designed by #MiucciaPrada and #RafSimons, #Prada explores a unique new format, staging two simultaneous runways shows in Milan, Italy and Shanghai, China, each unveiling the same collection at the same time: on September 24th at 15:00 CET and 21:00 CST, respectively.
The Prada Spring/Summer 2022 womenswear show is a celebration of the unique experience of the runway, and the power of technology to transcend borders, to unite. A celebration of fashion and of community.

As the romantics believed imagination could invent a better world, a perfect human being, so these ideas are fundamentally reflected in the fashion show, peopled with proposals of the idealised, the model.

The Prada Men’s and Women’s Fall/Winter 2019 took place at Fondazione Prada’s Deposito performance venue, where AMO staged a theatrical terrain of lights and architectural devices to evoke a science fictive atmosphere.
It can be described as a Romantic-Pop Vision: the tension between the human sensitivity and the dangerous roughness of life.
This duality is exemplified by the idea of a young misfit who wants to show his real self, a Frankenstein creature who represents the rejected, but also romance, hope, poetry and love.
